🛏 HOW THE BED SYSTEM WORKS (WHY IT’S BETTER)

BlastPad uses a flexible bed system similar to a hotel

Why not cold bunk?

Most crashpads use “cold bunks”:

·        You pay for a bed even when you’re not there

·        Rooms sit empty while others need space

·        Costs are higher and flexibility is lower

BlastPad system:

·        Beds rotate based on actual use

·        Rooms are available when you need them

·        No wasted space

·        More efficient for commuters

What this means for you:

·        Higher chance of privacy when in town

·        Better system for reserve / irregular schedules

·        Lower cost structure & higher quality

🚫 YOU CANNOT:

·        Hold a bed while away

·        Leave belongings in a bedroom when not staying

·        Treat rooms like personal storage

✅ YOU MUST:

·        Check out when away 2+ nights

·        Remove ALL belongings from the bedroom

·        Store items in your locker

🔑 Simple Rule:

If you are not physically staying in the room, nothing of yours should be in it.

🔥 Core Rule:

Bedrooms are not storage areas—only active occupants may keep items in them.

🏠 ROOM TYPES

Economy

·        Shared room

·        Always expect roommates

·        Most cost-efficient option

Standard

·        Fewer roommates when possible

·        More flexibility depending on occupancy

👉 All assignments are based on:

·        Availability

·        Gender

·        Current occupancy

🚗 CREW CAR (SHUTTLECRAFT) — HUGE ADVANTAGE

BlastPad includes access to a shared crew car system.

What you get:

·        Reliable airport transportation

·        24/7 shared vehicle access

·        Gas included (reimbursed with receipt)

·        Avoid parking headaches

Why this matters:

·        Uber adds up fast (+$30/one way)

·        Timing matters for trips

·

👉 ShuttleCraft eliminates that friction

What’s expected:

·        You monitor ShuttleChat

·        You coordinate and provide rides

·        You help keep the system running

👉 This is a team-based system, not a personal driver

📲 SHUTTLECHAT (HOW EVERYTHING RUNS)

All transportation and coordination happens through ShuttleChat (Messenger)

You must:

·        Request rides in advance

·        Communicate clearly

·        Monitor messages

·

👉 If it’s not in ShuttleChat, it doesn’t exist

💰 PRICING (IMPORTANT)

Pricing is based on schedule type — NOT nights stayed

Why?

·        Space must be reserved for you

·        Beds rotate continuously

Availability must be guaranteed👉 This is what makes the system reliable
